CONMEBOL qualifying for the 2024 FIFA World Cup continues on Tuesday as Argentina faces Bolivia.
Right now, both teams are in a position to qualify for the World Cup, with Argentina sitting first in the standings and Bolivia sitting in sixth.
Of course, Argentina’s spot is much more secure, so Bolivia could use a good result on Tuesday when these sides meet at Estadio Monumental in Buenos Aires.
However, they have struggled in recent games, with only two wins in their last five. They will aim to strengthen their position with a home win against Bolivia, a team that has historically struggled in away fixtures. Bolivia, however, has experienced an upturn in form under new coach Oscar Villegas. They secured their first away qualifier win in 31 years against Chile and followed it up with victories over Venezuela and Colombia. Bolivia’s win against Colombia was especially remarkable.
